System Administrator

- MCSE 2000 or 2003 required.
- Enterprise email administration experience required (Exchange, Groupwise)
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP, DNS, VOIP, and VPN.
- At least 3 years experience in Windows OS support for servers and workstations including backup/restore, system OS configuration and performance tuning.
- A+ / Network+ or equivalent experience building and fixing computer hardware.
- Experience with Novell Groupwise 6.x a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Experience writing user documentation
- Self-motivated, self-directed, adaptable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting.
- Comfort in working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with regard to work schedules (flexible hours will require some evenings and weekends).

Responsibilities may include:

- Designing and maintaining Active Directory enabled environments.
- Analysis of systems and recommendations for improvements.
- Troubleshooting network, software, hardware problems as they arise.
- Research and implement projects as necessary.
- Server builds.
- End-user level desktop support.
